Been A long time since I posted here, I know, what can I say, I have been a busy girl. This is the next show I will be promoting, my old homies from Olympia Washington ROMANTEEK. If you are in the mood for romance, this is the show for you. This nights line up will offer sexy soulful jams from Romanteek, emo sensitive dancy garage rock from SKIING, and DJs Sarah Adorable (Scream Club) playing minimal dark wave, Susie aka Rodeo (I heart hiroshima) playing Rocky dancy, feel good pop, and DJ Miniskirts playing rocky stuff, so it will be a well rounded night, something for everyone, and not only that its at Monstor Ronsons, so you can always pick out your own favorite songs to kareoke too. The show is 5 euros before midnight and 7 after, so get there early, and dance all night.

Hello friends,
its been a long time since I posted here. I have had alot going on at my gallery THE FAB LAB.
Since I last posted there has been an Akkamaui concert, a Pop Up Shop called She was an American Girl,  an audio visual performance and exhibition by Harriet Birks with Junk
and now we are gearing up for more good times...........

This is actually an art exhibition from my Aunt Tanya.
Its my first "dress up" party at the fab lab also.
I am looking forwrad to it.
















Outside of THE FAB LAB I also organized the FUL magazine release party at Monstor Ronsons.
Hopefully there will be pictures coming soon. It was such a lovely time that I am super excited for the NEXT event I am organizing which is the 3rd in my Club party seris. First it was CLUB OK with Nicky Click, then CLUB AWESOME with Aurora Kiss, and Aug 10th its CLUB ACTION with YO! Majesty!!!!! They are reunited and tearing it up worldwide. I am happy to present them in Berlin.

As far as SCREAM CLUB goes, we have a new 7" out with the KUMBIA QUEERS.

my weekend......Saskia Hahn Exhibition and Club Awesome

This was a busy weekend. It started of 7pm Fri May 13th at my gallery THE FAB LAB.

This time I hosted an exhibition for Saskia Hahn. She does mixed media, digital cut outs and collages. She is also the guitarist for Peaches live band Sweet Machine. So it was cool to see her unvail some of her other talents.

On Saturday it was my party CLUB AWESOME!!!!!
This party was an experiement to see what happened when I took my favorite people from different scenes and put them in one place.

The DJ line up included my best friend and Scream Club bandmate
Sarah Adorable,  Polina Decay (organizer of Drop Dead Festival)
Metzgerei (Bend Over)

Performing Live was Aurora Kiss.
Drawing pictures live was V.

There was also a Make Out Room for the romanticly adventurous.

It was a very mixed crowd, fun vibes, stuff to see around every corner.

This party is part of a seris I am doing. A traveling party.
The first one was Club OK at LUX, it featured Nicky Click this one was Club Awesome, the next will be Club Extrodinare hopefully at Wilde Renaute. Ofcourse I have not talked to them yet but I hope they will like the idea as much as me.

Brussels, R Kelly Con, Human Leauge, and Scream Club goes urban/tribal...

Ok, I been not so consistant on my blogs, I know, but with the advent of Facebook, sometimes I feel like it is unnessisary, but well, on the off chance there is someone out there that this is remotely interesting to, I will give you the 411 of what I have been doing, at least some of the Highlights.....

1. Went to Brussels, actually the first flight I missed, luckily we didn't play till the next day, so I didn't have to cry and refund a bunch of money, and miss an awesome show. When I got there I learned Sarah had been attacked (she is ok) some dude tackled her to the ground after spouting out a bunch of french bullshit, she says she channeled Debra Morgen (The sister on DEXTER) and she made it away unscathed, still scary, so ladies if you are reading, pleasee rememeber if someone attacks you, strike back in the EYES, NOSE, THROAT, KNEE, or GROIN.

The party in Brussels was organized by the lovely Delphine von Kaatz!. You might know her from the amazing underware she makes, and more notably the underware she made for Beth Ditto. Awesome Stuff.....The party was twin themed and the crowd was mega mega energetic.

The next day we djed at a cool cafe, fun time, brussels, minus that one douche bag, you guys were awesome.

2. The next big thing was the R KELLY CON at THE FAB LAB. It was an R kelly themed art exhibition and Screening of Trapped in the Closet. It was co-organized by Scott Sinclair and it was a blast. If you havn't seen Trapped in the Closet yet, I highly recommend it.  And for the record, there is no irony in my love for R KELLY. I am for real about it. I LOVE IT!!!!

After the R KELLY CON I enjoyed a night out at Monstor Ronsons for the BEND OVER Party.
It was nice, as everything Meine Metzgerei does. Mad Kate did a dancing performance, it was nice.

3. Scream Club has been setting out on an exciting new direction. We have been prcaticing all week and last night we debuted our new songs. We have 3 new songs as a matter of fact. All about love. And not one of them is a rap song. Its chanty, tribaly, urban. We were joined by Meggan Gottard as she interpreted our songs with her body. I was scared shitless. It was the most nervous I think I have ever been for a scream club show. The sound was super dooper shitty, but I really think it was ok.
I am looking forward to recording soon and seeing what other kind of songs come out.

A brief list of what I have been doing since the last post

1. recorded a song with CBA . A german rapper and  newish friend, unfortunatly (for me) he is in Helsinki now for the next 3 months.... cool we did a song, he was EXTREMELY patient with my endless rewrites and it was fun hanging, writing... I actually don't have SO many friends into hip hop.

2. Talked to Melissa from 307 Knox records and she is interested in putting out a Scream Club / Nicky Click 7". Whooo hoooo. Now we gotta send her more songs.... We skyped, and I even got to see Kimya Dawson for a brief moment via skype cuz they were hanging out. Exciting.

3. Got the final art for the upcoming KUMBIA QUEERS / SCREAM CLUB and ELECTROSEXUAL  split 7". It looks AWESOME and I am stoked!!!

4. Had the funniest screening of Show Girls in The Fab Lab. Please check here to read all about it.

7. I went to see an amazing photo exhibition of  Iwajla Klinke. at a delightful gallery called  Styx.
It was my first time there. I was way into it.

8. I made a new SCREAM CLUB website, and a new HANK BOBBIT site. (this one still in the works)

9. On Saturday after I had the Metzgerei closing party I went to see Sarah Adorable DJ at Barbie Deinhoff's, then I went to the Missy Magazine party and saw one of the most  assaulting bands I have seen in a long time. If Volume is one of your key ingredients, I don't know, I think there are so many more interesting things you can do then just be loud, then  I went to ZMF to see Mz Sunday Luv and Electrosexual show.It was great, as usual. That Sunday can sure sing.

10. hmmm searching for new venues to have new parties at. 2 new parties coming soon from me, and me and friends... i am activly on the HUNT!!!!! more about that later......
